The Society of Earth Scientists (SES), a not for profit registered organization, is an initiative of International Year of Planet Earth-2008 and calls for the integration of all the domains of earth sciences to understand Earth processes as a whole, to popularize the importance of earth sciences within the society and to encourage young brains to take up career in earth sciences. Advanced research vis-à-vis social impact requires global exchange of ideas, mutual cooperation, support, understanding and unity among scientists across the geographical boundaries. We invite scientists to join this forum to meet these objectives.
