About The Magazine
The Quarterly magazine “Land, Water & People” has been launched to facilitate trans-disciplinary communication and exchange of ideas on issues related to the land and water resources, their use, and community management by people. There is an urgent need to bridge the gap between researchers, professionals and communities in physical and natural sciences. Many concerns are also transnational in character and relate to natural resource management, and state rights; as a result, it is critical to examine them at all spatial levels in order to reach fair and enforceable solutions that protect both land and water resources. LWP serves as a forum for analysing and debating all elements of land, water, environment, and the society. It encourages contributions in the areas of scientific research integration, synthesis, assessment, solutions, and technological innovations in support of conservation of land and water resources in order to maximise the economic and social benefits, paving the way for long-term sustainable development. LWP transcends strict disciplinary borders and will appeal to academics, politicians, businessmen, and indeed everyone with an interest in the planet’s and people’s prosperity.
